My week so far in photos!

 My week started out with thunder and lightning. Lots of it.

But thankfully the sun came out the next day and below was the scenery that I caught.

Yep, a lot of cute birds eating from our bird feeder. ^o^

 As for my reading this week, I read one book:

This book titled Vanishing by Bruce Brooks was a nice read. I liked it, and it received a 3 out 5 stars from me.

But it wasn't a book where I would want to write a whole lot on it, so this is all I have to say about it. It was quick read, only about 100 pages, and I feel that for me, it's a one time read.

Now on to something amazing that happened today. Did anyone see The Book Thief trailer that came out? It looks so amazing, and out of all the book trailers that have been coming out, this is the only one that I am extremely excited for. I was so excited that I made my mom watch it, and I'm one to keep to myself.

Unfortunately, I do not own the book. And I couldn't buy it because I'm sort of on a book buying ban right now. The only thing I could do was add it on all of my wish lists. =/

But later today, my mother came home and surprised me with the book!

I honestly couldn't believe it.

(She really liked the movie trailer too, by the way.)

When someone buys me a book, for no reason, and for no occasion, I become speechless.

I can't describe what it's like being given a book.

I can buy them myself and love them, but somehow it's different when it's a gift.
