
1. What’s the best book you read in 2013?
This is always the hardest thing to do for me. I have read so many amazing books in 2013, but when I really think about it, the best book I read was Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi.

But I didn't just read Shatter Me, I read all the books that came after it:
Destroy Me, Unravel Me, and Fracture Me, all by Tahereh Mafi. If you haven't read this series, please go read it now.
2. What was the most surprising book of 2013?
The most surprising book I read was Stolen by Lucy Christopher. This book just shocked me and messed with my mind.

3. What book did you read in 2013 and recommend to people most in 2013?
The Selection by Keira Cass. The Selection was so enjoyable to read that I had to pass it on to everyone.

4. What was the best series discovered in 2013?
The Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi. I'm probably gonna be talking about this series for a long time.
5. Who is your favorite new author you discovered in 2013?
Markus Zusak. His style of writing is phenomenal and I'm excited to read more of his books.
6. What was the best book that was out of your comfort zone?
The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank and The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. I am not one to read books about wars, especially World War 2. But by reading these two amazing books, I have realized that they have become my favorite.


7. Most thrilling, unputdownable book in 2013?
Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea by April Genevieve Tucholke. I could not put this book down. It was that good.
Low Red Moon by Ivy Devlin. This book is still on my mind, so I definitely need to re-read it.
9. What book were you excited about and thought you’d love but didn’t?
Seven Tears Into The Sea by Terri Farley. I heard so many people loved this book so I had to read it. I had such high expectations of this book but was sadly let down.
10. What was your favorite cover of a book you read in 2013?
Just look at it. Need I say more?
11. Who was the most memorable character in 2013?
Definitely Rudy from The Book Thief. I loved this character so much and I loved this character even more after watching the movie.
12. What was the most beautifully written book read in 2013?
I also have to give this to The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. The narration by Death, and the stories of every character was written flawlessly.
13. What book that had the greatest impact on you in 2013?
The Diary of A Young Girl by Anne Frank. I cannot even explain my feelings for this book.
14. What book you can’t believe you waited until 2013 to finally read?
I put off reading Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher because of the hype. But now I understand why everyone loved it and I wish I had read it sooner.
15. What was your favorite passage or quote from a book you read in 2013?

The shortest book I read was Fracture Me by Tahereh Mafi with 68 pages. The longest book I read was The Book Thief by Markus Zusak with 552 pages.

Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi. Let me just say this, Chapter 62.
18. What was your favourite relationship from a book you read in 2013?
Bryce and Juli from Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen.
When Juli saw Bryce, she flipped. When Bryce saw Juli, he ran.
19. What was your favorite book you read in 2013 from an author you’ve previously read?
I have none. 2013 made me read from all kinds of new authors.
20. What was the best book you read based on a recommendation from someone else in 2013?
The Selection by Kiera Cass. I heard such good things about The Selection and I'm so glad I read it.

I'm pretty sure I read a lot of Fantasy.

Oops, I kinda lost myself for a second. *clears throat* My fictional book crush is Warner from the Shatter Me series. I love him. A lot. A lot, a lot.

I Capture The Castle by Dodie Smith. The imagery in this book was so beautiful.

How is it never not fun to read the Harry Potter series?

The Book Thief. I cried so hard. And I sobbed, and I yelled, and I cried again.
27. What book that you read in 2013 got overlooked?
I really loved Beastly by Alex Finn, but some people didn't. It could just be that I am weak for any fairytale retellings, especially Beauty and the Beast. But overall, this book was amazing.

1. What’s one book you didn’t get to in 2013, but want to make it your priority in 2014?
Cinder by Marissa Meyer. Hopefully I do read this in 2014.
2. What is your most anticipated book for 2014?
Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi. It's almost here!
3. What is your most anticipated debut for 2014?
Between The Spark And The Burn by April Genevieve Tucholke which is the sequel to Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea. It will be published on August 14. And again, that cover!
4.What is your most anticipated series ending release in 2014?
The Shatter Me series! I really don't want it to end, but I'm really excited to know what happens.
5. What’s one thing you hope to accomplish or do in your blogging in 2014?
I hope to post more book reviews and just random photos of books and my life. Let's all look forward to the New Year!
